Jason was born on January 27th, 1999 and lived in South Brunswick, NJ with his parents Lori and Robert Skibinski
September 13th, 2003
A Sister is Born
On September 13th, 2003, Jason's sister Brooke was born. As a sibling of someone with autism, Jason was taught about empathy, compassion, and responsibility at a young age, which has carried with him throughout his theatrical endevours.
May 2004
Go Fish
At the ripe young age of five years old, Jason performed in his first ever musical production, his elementary school production of Go Fish! The Musical. After being cast as the needlefish, and realizing how fun it was to run around the stage poking other people, his passion for theatre was established.
July 2010
On The Move
In July of 2010, Jason and his family moved from South Brunswick to Freehold, NJ, where Jason continued to grow his love for theatre through school and community theatre productions.
September 2013
High School Musical
In September of 2013, Jason began school at the Fine and Performing Arts Academy at Howell High School where he attended as an acting major. Here, he studied techniques such as Meisner and Stanislavsky and began to view his hobby as a future career plan.
August 2017
Chants Up!
In August of 2017, Jason officially became a Chanticleer when he began his journey to achieving his BFA in Musical Theatre from Coastal Carolina University. It is here where Jason was able to refine his talents and learn about what it takes to survive in the theatre indsustry.
May 2021
School's Out!
In May of 2021, Jason is expected to graduate from CCU with his BFA in Musical Theatre, as well as graduating with Honors!
